flowers and a thunderstorm
For this session we went to Hidden Springs Peony Farm in Spring Grove, Minnesota. Mama suggested it and I was all for it. I thought a newborn baby girl in a field of peonies... yes please! I had never heard or been there before. It was so incredibly beautiful. When I was driving there the clouds started to look a little scary. They got darker the closer I got to the location. When my clients arrived we quickly got to work as we had no idea how long we would have before we got rained on. The clouds continued to get darker and I was certain we would end up getting poured on. I asked mom and dad if they were comfortable continuing and they said yes! As the storm came the clouds literally parted around us. It ended being beautiful evening with no rain, an amazing yellow sky and an incredible family. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session.
